Pool, deck and seating built as one job

Most pool projects are two contracts: someone builds the pool, then someone else comes back to deal with the ground around it. That gap is where the awkward transitions and the mismatched levels come from.

Here the pool and the surround were one job. The deck levels, the seating and the coping were set out at the same time as the pool, which is the only way to get the finished thing to read as a single outdoor room rather than a pool with paving near it.

Our in-house builders are trained decorative and stamped concrete installers, so the finish around the water is not subcontracted work. That is the difference this project is really showing.
