The advantage of a vinyl liner pool is that nothing about its shape is decided in a factory. Steel or polymer wall panels are set on a poured concrete footing, which means the outline can follow the yard rather than the other way round. On this Westerville project that flexibility is the whole point: the pool fits the space that was actually available.

Liner pools also carry the lowest up-front cost of the three types we build, and the surface is the friendliest to swim in. It is non-abrasive and soft to the touch, so there are no scraped feet and no snagged swimsuits.

A good liner lasts somewhere between seven and twelve years with sensible water chemistry, and replacing it is also the easiest way to change how the pool looks. A new pattern is a genuinely different pool for a fraction of what any other change would cost.
